~ SYNOPSIS ~
Twenty-four year old Dexter Michaels has arrived in the UK for a fresh start - leaving everything and everyone he knows behind in the states. Determined to put right some of the wrongs he’ll never be able to forgive himself for making and make his Aunt Sarah – the only person left who still believes in him - proud, he lands in London with the intention of working hard, getting his degree and keeping himself to himself. Without her trying, and without him realizing, Emily has wound her way into the one place he swore to keep locked away forever – his heart. Congratulations to Nicola on the fabulous start to her Take My Hand Series
CHARACTERS
We are met with Emily & Dexter, as they say the opposite attract. A great love attraction between these two that lets them both be themselves. I loved these two together.
Supporting characters of Rachel & Jared were a added mix to the story. Their hilarious tease sayings between these 4 friends with great lines been spoken.
STORYLINE
Story was fantastic throughout. With Dexter doubt of being loved to Emily not believing in her beauty, it adds a romantic dynamic to the book.
Full of fab twists and characters both with troubled pasts, the story couldn't go by without saying there was heartfelt moments aswell.
With the talented Dexter being Doubled Pierced in his you know what, PHEW it certainly put together some pleasurable scenes
COVER
Was very appealing to the eye and made me want to take a step into the book as to the purpose behind the Holding Hands. You will certainly find out the meaning in the story.
ENDING
We are met with a cliffhanger that opens the door leading us into Book #2 Hold On Tight (Out Jan 2014). This will brings us more incite as to what the future will hold for the now happy couple with the past catching up to them.

OVERALL
A fabulous book about 2 broken within people, come together that brings out the best in one another. I believe that everyone deserves to be loved. Cheesy I know lol. Not much of a wait for the next installment.
