Their connection was well written through dual point of view from their first encounter through to the celebration of their friends. Their type of chemistry couldn't be bought as Maverick ensures Harper he will never stop at anything to get steal her heart.
I'm also a huge fan of additional characters that bring a great vibe throughout a story, in particular Imani, Harper's Bodyguard, the motherly instincts in protecting her I loved.
A thrilling read that was another fantastic novel by Steph Nuss. I look forward to what further unfolds from this talented writer.
