We firstly meet Andressa "Andi" Amaro who has a tough upbringing losing something so close to heart she placed her guard up with her heart to ensure that she will not fall in love with a F1 Driver no matter what the cost will be. When an opportunity presents itself with her Uncle John to join a Formula 1 team, Andi couldn't wait to become their next mechanic. With Carrick shaking up with anything that walks with two legs including crew members, he is placed on guarded watch with his Dad/Manager. Little did he know the new mechanic "Andi" was female.....a change was presented to him however he doesn't realise this is one woman you don't want to mess with.
I loved his character from the moment when rejection hurts to his heartfelt moments to make those that mean the most to him happy. I was expecting for him to be one cocky racer kind of guy however over the course of the book, he certainly was rewarded a BBF label.
As their time over the course of the racing schedule, Andi and Carrick work side by side and avoid growing feelings you wish that wouldn't arise. However, Andi struggles to stick to her number one rule with this Irish lads charm. Their chemistry is certainly undeniable but certainly isnt easy street for this pair. From Andi's roommate Petra, workmate Ben and Carrick's driving nemesis Leando, they have brought a lot to the story aswell.
Revved was addictive so much you just cannot put this book down until finish. The writing was full of such angst and undeniable chemistry with a twist of spunk from the leading characters! Ekkkk it was full on and I loved ever bit of it! Cannot wait for the next book in the series with Revived - Leandro and India's Story.
