BLOG TOUR + REVIEW + EXCERPT + GIVEAWAY: True Bliss (Book#2) by BJ Harvey

Title: TRUE BLISS (Bliss # 2)
Author: BJ Harvey
Published: November 25th
Organized by: The Book Avenue

She watched her best friend find her superhero.

Now she wants her turn.

Despite a run of bad dates with Mr. Wrong, Mr. Boring, Mr. Bad Breath, Mr. Grabby Hands, and even Mr. Say I Love You After One Date To Get Into Your Pants, Kate McGuinness is more determined than ever to find the one.

Having tried everything else, she turns to the internet in a last ditch attempt to find her elusive prince.
But Kate doesn’t want an everyday, run of the mill love.

She wants the kind of love that makes your heart skip a beat. The kind of love that makes you dance in the rain and bottle up the sunset. The once in a lifetime kind of love that authors write about, musicians sing about, and lovers dream about.

Could a certain police officer in training, who has come to her rescue in the past, be the one to swoop in and save her heart?

What if the love Kate desperately seeks has been in front of her the whole time?

She just needs to open her eyes to see it...

*Disclaimer: This book contains a hot as hell stripper with a penchant for public sex and exhibitionism who may or may not succeed in bringing out the inner firecracker in all of us. Oh, and don't forget the batteries.*

The Disclaimer says it all. Who doesn't want a  Hot as Hell Stripping cop as your man.
After Temporary Bliss, Daniel aka Superman certainly left me swooning at his heels.....However I believe Xander has overtaken the Crown.

Another brilliant and beautiful romantic comedy  between Zander and Kate looking for love through the unconventional way to find that their true soul mate is right in front of them all a long. With dual points of view throughout, you had a understanding that these two were made to be with each other from when they first met.

So many fabulous moments through from Kate's sayings had me definitely at LOL moments with her G.O.G to Zander's public displays of affections certainly lifted the Hotness off up another level . Beautiful moments throughout this book certainly melted the heart. Especially with Zander calling Kate his Firebird. Swoon...

"Beautiful is not enough of a word to describe you. You're electric, you're alive and vibrant, and when you look up at me like that, you make me feel invincible. I've been staring at you all night, wondering how on earth I got so lucky to have met you, to spend time with you, to get to know you" ~ Zander.

I loves the returning characters of  Daniel & Mac into the story as the motivators and the go to person for both Kate and Zander. Mackenna still touches my heart with her Mumma instincts and just knowing what is always right to say to make it better.
Overall another amazing novel by the brilliant writing of BJ Harvey's and looking forward to Book 3 of the series with Noah's story.

Realizing that the day is getting away from me, I gather my laundry for the week and head around the block to Suds R Us, my local laundromat. Once I have the washing machine on, I sit back in the plastic chairs lining the wall and pull out my phone. Time for my weekly phone call to Mom and the girls.

It rings twice before my sister Danika picks up. “City morgue. You kill ‘em, we chill ‘em.”

She never fails to amaze me. “Danika, that is terrible!” I say, still chuckling to myself.

“Zan! Tell me you’re coming home soon.”

“I wish I was, squirt. I’m too busy with work and the academy. Who would’ve thought you have to study to become a cop?”

“Well duh! Of course you do. How else will you know how to get fat and eat donuts all day?”

“Oh is that what I’ll be doing all day? Well shit, I’m glad you told me now,” I reply sarcastically.
