Kayley Carson thought she had it all...married to the love of her life, a great job, and a baby on the way. Then one day, her life changes forever when she loses her husband in a tragic accident. No longer sure how to navigate life after her enormous loss, Kayley clings to her newborn baby, her family, and her friends to keep herself living.  When she meets someone that challenges her belief that she's better off alone, she has to decide if she is capable of letting him in after swearing she was never going to love anyone the same way again.

She's not the only one with a painful past.

He is struggling with trust issues after a previous relationship went horribly wrong. After a terrible misunderstanding brings out both of their insecurities, will the painful memories of the past keep them both from living again?

Grab the Kleenex people because this was a Tear Jerker!
A beautifully captured heartfelt romance that took me by total surprise.

We meet Kayley Carson who unfortunately was met with tragic circumstances. Life must go on but how to do you let go of the one you love that is now gone? With a newborn baby to bring into the world without a father, how can she find new love again? We welcome Dr Ben "Yummy" Nicholls to swoon her over but capture not only her heart but little miss Alexis aswell.

The story that evolves between Kayley, Ben & Alexis was beautifully written. I could honestly go on all days about these three. After such heartache fate brings 2 people together with new love. The raw emotion I felt throughout this book was beautiful as the story unfolded.
To the additional characters throughout this story, I believed tied this story together. The beautiful warmth from their best friends Emily, Cam to family members from both sides. Life would be hard to move on without the help of them all.

She kissed him like he was breath that she needed in her lungs.  As their tongues entwined and their bodies pressed together urgently, she had never felt so desired, so cherished and so turned on all at one.
"WOW" he half laughed and half groaned
"I thought your kiss was incredible before, Kayley, but that was the best kiss in the history of kisses. You have just ruined me for life. ~ Ben

Without ruining the story etc and from the Synopsis above, you will just need to read the book to find out what happens.

Thankfully we are met with a No Cliffhanger HEA ending, it completes the story after a journey full of emotion between two that are meant to be together.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book from cover to back page. Congratulations to L.L. Collins on a beautiful debut novel. I will look forward to the sequel Reaching Rachel.

L.L. Collins is a 30-something teacher from Florida.  She is a wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend.  Her love of writing found a home in the self publishing world in 2013.  Her debut novel, a contemporary romance called Living Again, released as an eBook and paperback on October 4, 2013

LL has been writing since she was old enough to write. Always a story in her head, she finally decided to let the characters out and start writing.”
